SEASON 2 UPDATE NOW LIVE

A new map, mode, weapons, and quality of life improvements highlight Arena Breakout’s latest Season 2 update.

Arena Breakout Season 2 has launched on October 27th bringing impressive changes to several of the game’s maps, systems, and settings. The new map PORT has arrived with dense, urban fighting and loads of loot. NORTHRIDGE has also been refreshed with several new locations like Camp Services and an expanded Cable Car Station (formerly Observation Deck) featuring a new cable car extraction point.

6 new guns have entered Arena Breakout including assault rifles, a shotgun, and high caliber pistol. The AN-94, AEK, ACE 31, SCAR-L, DP-12, and M300 Revolver are all available to customize and try now. New melee and pistol mechanics have been introduced to provide a more fluid experience in combat. Switching to a melee weapon while running will no longer slow the player down, and switching to a sidearm is also faster and more fluid allowing for quick aiming without fully replacing your primary weapon.

Important QOL (Quality of Life) improvements have been added to Arena Breakout’s inventory and market systems. When listing a firearm on the Market players may opt to sell each attachment individually which often sells faster than an in-tact firearm. However, this process uses many of your listing slots, therefore it is recommended to use this system to take apart guns quickly by using the “return to storage” option and then selling the attachments in bulk. Bullets can now be sold in bundles of 120 rather than 90. Damaged gear can also be sold on the market now, and the repair price will be included in the listing price.

The new quick kit builder feature has been added for easily building new loadouts with a set budget. Input your desired price range and Arena Breakout will recommend a loadout based on the cost. You can refresh the kit several times to find the perfect build that suits your playstyle.

However, be wary of item costs while using the quick kit builder as the cost is typically much higher than stated. Item values are calculated using Contact prices, however kit purchases are fulfilled from the market where prices are typically significantly higher.

As with every new update ranks have reset with the introduction of Season 2. Leaderboards have been added for Season Rank, Extracted Loot, Boss Eliminations, Operator Eliminations, and Equipment Value. Inventories will NOT be reset as there will be no wipes in Arena Breakout.
