New Season 2 Tips & Tricks
With the new Season 2 update Arena Breakout has included several new items and quality of life improvements to the inventory, market, and UI. Let’s take a look at some of the best new tips and tricks recently introduced.
The Old Backpack is a new bag added in Season 2 that might not look like much, but to any seasoned looter it is great for increasing one’s inventory capacity during a raid. The backpack takes up 16 slots (4x4), however inside it can carry 20 slots (4x5).
Some small quality of life improvements were added to the inventory and market intefaces. These include a ‘CLEAR’ button for lockboxes, bullets now being sellable in stacks of 120 (previously 90), and damaged gear can be sold more quickly as repair costs are now included in the market listing fee.
Guns can be broken down more quickly as a second tab is now available on the market for firearms. When attempting to sell a complete firearm players can access this new tab to sell the individual attachments and parts separately in their own listings. However, this method can quickly fill one’s market slots so it is recommended to use this method purely for dismantling the guns and selecting the “return to storage” option. By purposely using this dismantle option with only 1 free market slot you can force the game to return all attachments automatically to your storage therefore significantly speeding up the dismantling process.
The 926 Night Owl unarmored chest rig was added with the Season 2 update and notably provides additional storage space as the rig takes up 16 slots (4x4) but can carry 20 (4x5). Additionally, the Night Owl rig has several different compartments ranging from 2x1, 3x1, and even a 2x2 square slot for larger items such as helmets or headsets.
A new SW-5 Half Gas Mask was introduced recently, as well. This half gas mask is the only gas mask that can be equipped simultaneously with a face shield and provides moderate poison gas protection with 40 durability. This unique property comes at a premium as the SW-5 is currently one of the most the most expensive gas masks in the game.
